Where in the World?

Geography club will meet on Fridays, from 3-4pm in the Digital Commons Mac Lab.

We have over 35 students registered for the club. This is the most interest we have had in all the years of Geography club! At the last two Geography Bees, even with a limited number of participants, we won and were runner ups respectively.

Technology Tip of the Week - iCloud Storage Mangement

A common problem seen with iPads in the Digital Commons is a lack of iCloud storage. There is no need to buy more storage, you just need to know how to manage your storage. Apple shares iCloud management tips and tricks you can read below.

 

If your iCloud storage runs low, there are several ways you can increase your available space. You can:

Hearing and Vision Screening

Hearing and Vision screening will be on Monday, February 2. We will start about 8:00 with students who are new to the district and some of our 6th and 8th grade students who need to be tested. Testing for the 7th graders will be during 2nd period since that is the electives time. We will do our best to finish before lunch.

Exploring the World Phenomena with Scientists

Teachers around the world hear questions from their students such as, “Why does this matter?” or “Why should I care?” Earth Explorers, a STEM enrichment course at Trail Ridge, answers these questions directly through quality programming and exciting opportunities for students. We bring scientists into the classroom and they conduct experiments with our 6th graders that are related to their professional research. (There is a 7th and 8th grade class of Earth Explorers at Trail Ridge as well with a slightly different format).

Boulder Mini Maker Faire

The Greatest Show and Tell on Earth!

Join us for the first-ever Boulder Mini Maker Faire on January 31st and February 1st at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.
