News & Notes

Yearbooks – Final Call Yearbook online sales will be closed Friday (TONIGHT) at midnight. The remainder of the yearbooks will be for sale on Monday after school. Students can purchase yearbooks for $40 cash or checks can be made out to Trail Ridge Middle School.

Choir - We are looking forward to the following performance by our outstanding students.

  • Choir students will be performing in a Choir Concert at Trail Ridge Middle School on Wednesday, May 16th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.

Skyline Cheer Dates – Skyline’s new cheer coach Tiffany Fleming would like to invite students who are interested in Cheer to the following events:

Meet and Greet
Monday, May 14th in the small gym at 5:45 p.m.

Tryout Clinic
Tuesday May 15th in the small gym at  5:45-7:00 (OPTIONAL)

Friday May 18th in the large gym at 4:30pm
Saturday May 19th in the large gym at 9:00am - 1:30pm

Parent Meeting
Monday May 21st in the small gym at 5:45-7:15 pm

Homework Club has ended for the year.  Afternoon homework club will resume in the 2018/19 school year. Thank you for the great attendance.

100 Mile Club has ended for the year.  Thank you to all of our wonderful staff and students who participated throughout the year.  We look forward to seeing the same great participation next year!

Geography Club has ended for the year.

Trail Ridge would like to invite current 6th & 7th graders to our Summer STEM classes in Guitar Tech, Stop Motion Video Animation, and 3D Design with Tinkercad.  The classes are Monday – Thursday, June 4th – 14th.  For more details please see the link below.

The Longmont Economic Development Partnership (LEDP) is currently seeking volunteers for Longmont Start Up Week – scheduled for July 23 to July 27.

Longmont Startup Week is a collaborative gathering for entrepreneurs, investors, and talent that invigorates and nurtures Longmont’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The theme for this year's event is “Smarter. Together.”

Events and content will focus on creators, commerce, capital, and community and will highlight Longmont as an entrepreneurial ecosystem for civic innovation. All events are free to attend and provide outstanding learning and networking opportunities. Learn more at

To help Longmont and the LEDP make this year's event a successful one, St. Vrain is assisting with the development of volunteers. If you or your student would like to volunteer during Longmont Startup Week, complete the survey linked below to get started.

8th Grade Continuation Celebration

Who: Our Trail Ridge 8th Graders and their Families!

What: Continuation is a celebration of our TRMS 8th graders continuing to high school next year.  There will be a formal ceremony and 8th grade dance.

**Dress code is “Sunday Best”.  8th grade boys may only wear jeans if part of vaquero dress attire.

When: Wednesday, May 23, 2018
               Ceremony: 6:00pm-7:00pm (STUDENTS ARRIVE AT 5:00 pm for line up and  attendance!)
               8th Grade Dance: 7:00pm-9:00pm (pick up at 9pm sharp!)

Where: Trail Ridge Middle School

Why: To celebrate our wonderful 8th graders and their accomplishments this year!


  • Volunteer hours must be completed and turned in with reflection by: 5/14/2018
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA (3rd & 4th quarters) required- email: for specific student info
  • Parent volunteers still needed for decorating- email: to volunteer
  • Food donations/paper goods still needed- email: to sign-up

String lights, strobe lights, and colored lights needed for the dance!
