The continued safety, well-being, and success of our students, teachers, staff, and community has always been our top priority as we navigate the complex and evolving coronavirus crisis. To that end, our comprehensive task force has outlined a school reopening plan that includes a return to full-time in-person instruction for students in grades PK-5, 6, and 9, and an alternating schedule with a combination of in-person and synchronous real-time online learning for students in grades 7-8 and 10-12.

Dear Trail Ridge Families,
The month of July has come to an end and that means that the new school year is approaching. We are looking forward to a great year and are excited to reconnect with returning students and to meet all of our new students as well! Our goal at TRMS remains the same: Simply, we strive for the positive growth and success of each and every individual. We look forward to working together with the students, their families, and our community to reach this goal.
Along the way, I want to encourage each of you to contact us here at the school if there is anything we can assist with or if you have any questions. The main office phone number is (720) 494-3820. We want this school year to be valuable to your child, and by collaborating with you, we know it will be great!
In the meantime, please review the following information that will be helpful for a smooth start to the school year.
We hope to see you around!
Eddie Cloke, Principal

Students do not need backpacks or supplies on this first day, however if they do not purchase hot lunch they may bring their own lunch. Our new students in 7th and 8th grade will be dismissed at 12:00 at the conclusion of lunch. Returning 7th and 8th grade students will begin on Thursday, August 16th at 7:45am for the first full day of school.
•Student schedules can be accessed on the Infinite Campus portal on Friday, August 10th at 8:00am.
•School Picture Day is scheduled for Friday, August 17th. Order forms will be available in the office as well as sent home on the first day of school. Picture retakes are schedule for Tuesday, September 25th.
•Our annual “Back to School Night” will take place on Tuesday, August 21st at 6:00pm. We set this night aside to give you the opportunity to meet your student’s teachers and get answers to any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you here at TRMS!
•School begins promptly at 7:45am. When the weather is nice, the front doors will open at 7:35am each morning and the first bell will ring at 7:40am. All students are expected to be in their seats and ready to begin class at 7:45am. Please help us ensure each and every student starts the day off right by being on time! Students should not arrive too early as there is no supervision prior to 7:30am. Unless otherwise involved in a school sponsored activity, all students need to leave campus by 3:00pm. We appreciate your support!
While we value student individuality and self-expression at Trail Ridge, we believe appropriate dress has a positive impact on students’ attitude and behavior. Our desire is to encourage good grooming, neat appearance, and good judgement with regard to dress.
Guidelines for appropriate school apparel include:
•All clothing must cover the traditionally private parts of the body, including, but not limited to, the midsection, buttocks, back and breasts.
•Undergarments must be covered.
•Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be at least thumb length when arms are straight down to your side.
•Pants should not be sagging and exposing undergarments.
•Clothing that advertises alcohol, drugs, gang affiliation, or any profanity should remain at home.
•Hats, hoods, and sunglasses are not to be worn in the building at any time.
•Graphic material is expected to be appropriate and not reference inappropriate behavior, language, action or substance abuse of any kind, threaten the safety or welfare of any person, or otherwise disrupt the teaching-learning process.
Once again, we are pleased to provide free breakfast for every student during the school day. ALL students will have the opportunity to receive various breakfast snack items each day, free of charge. We have built in a breakfast break during our daily schedule, generally after the first class of the day.
Please join us in welcoming the new staff members to the TRMS family this year!
