Message From the Principal

Trail Ridge Families,

We had outstanding Back To School Night this past week, and it was great to greet so many families! Thank you to those who were able to join us!

One thing we are really encouraging our students to do this school year is to get involved in school related activities. These extra-curriculars have such a positive impact on a student as they build a stronger connection between them and the school. We want each and every student to feel a strong connection to TRMS. Please help us by encouraging your child to get involved with a club, sport, or activity - The benefits are lasting!

The perfect opportunity for your student to get involved will happen this coming Thursday, August 30th from 3-4pm. We will be hosting a "FourSquare Festival," just a fun time for students to hang out, listen to music, play some foursquare, and meet others. This is a free event hosted by Mr. Cloke.

Enjoy the weekend!

Eddie Cloke, Principal

YES! Ambassadors - Learning Ally’s YES! Ambassadors are a group of middle and high school volunteers with dyslexia who speak about their learning differences, self-advocacy and assistive technologies.

The YES! presentation explores this very common learning difference, covering characteristics, myths, accommodations, assistive technology, self-advocacy and personal stories. Included are a series of simulations designed to allow attendees to experience what it feels like to be dyslexic.

Previous YES! Ambassador events have received an overwhelmingly positive response from staff.  You will walk away with instructional and accommodation tools to use the very next day.

Parents and Students are welcome to attend!
