Things are getting really busy around TRMS as we head into October. Please keep track of these following events:
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for (Tuesday) October 3rd, (Thursday) October 5th, and (Wednesday) October 11th. They take place between 3:15 pm and 7:15 pm each day. You should have received correspondence from one of your child’s teachers through email or a note home. Please remember to sign up for a time slot for conferences.

Beginning next week, teachers will be emailing out a link to Signup Genius where you can signup for a timeslot for a conference. You will only need to sign up for one timeslot per student to receive information regarding all of your students’ classes.
September is upon us and just like that, the school year is in full swing! Thank you to all for helping us get off to a great start. It is so awesome to watch our students grow and they have done a fabulous job adjusting to the start. We are very proud of them!

The start of a new academic year is one of my favorite times to visit our schools and talk with our students, families, teachers and staff. Our hallways are filled with a palpable optimism and drive to continue our momentum toward the highest levels of academic growth and success.
It’s not the eclipse that is dangerous to observe, it’s the sun! The sun’s visible (and invisible) rays can cause serious damage to the sensitive tissues of the eyes, often without being immediately aware of it. Normally, our common sense protects us from looking directly at the sun for more than a second.

Back to School - Important Dates
All sixth graders and new students to TRMS will start school on Tuesday, August 15th from 7:45 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Students do not need backpacks or supplies on this first day, however if they do not purchase hot lunch they may bring their own lunch. Our new students in 7th and 8th grade will be dismissed at 12:00 at the conclusion of lunch.
