Public education is the cornerstone of our democracy. The impact of our schools and their role in shaping the future success of our society extends far beyond the smart boards, desks and walls of our classrooms. From economic development, to national security, to home and commercial property values, to business and corporate development, and community growth, our public schools provide a strong foundation for advancing the quality of our lives and the direction of our future.
We are so proud of all of the TRMS students and the hard work they put forth every day. We are happy to announce that we had 400 students earn the Honor Roll for second quarter by compiling a minimum GPA of 3.0! Way to go Grizzlies!
The Holiday Season is upon us and that means we are winding down the end of the second quarter here at TRMS. Students and teachers have been working hard to finish the quarter strong before final grades are posted. Remind your kids to take advantage of all opportunities we offer to provide extra academic support, including lunchtime study halls, after school homework club, and talking with their teachers.
This time of the year is always regarded as the perfect opportunity for us to focus on gratitude. This morning we had our annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony, giving our school community the chance to recognize and thank numerous Veterans for their service to our country. It is always a great event and today was no exception.
Across St. Vrain Valley Schools, we are advancing public education for our community, state and nation. St. Vrain prepares students for their future by giving them a strong competitive advantage that will empower their success in a complex globalized economy. It has been an outstanding start to the academic year and I want to thank our students, families, teachers, staff and other partners for continuing to support St. Vrain Valley Schools’ drive for excellence in serving our community and advancing public education.
