Celebrations!!

This coming week we will be sending home over 300 letters with students who achieved high growth on TCAP last school year! We are very proud of all of our students!

Homework Club

The TRMS Homework Club is back and will open up on Monday Sept 15. Homework Club will take place in the digital commons and will be open from 7am-740am Monday through Friday and 3pm-4pm Monday through Wednesday, and Friday. Please note: Homework Club will NOT be open on Thursday afternoons. Please encourage your students to utilize the space as a quiet place to get some work done. Students who attend will be required to sign in and must remain at HW Club for the entire session.

Washington DC

Ms. Garcia is planning an educational trip to Washington DC in May of 2015. There will be an informational planning meeting on Tuesday, September 16th from 6:15 to 7:30pm in Room A138.

iPad Basics Classes

The Carbon Valley Regional Library is hosting training sessions for iPad users. Learn the basics of navigating the iPad. Menus, buttons, and settings will be explained in a relaxed and friendly environment. They will also talk about apps and how to manage them. Bring your own iPad or iPhone or use one of the library’s iPads.

The classes are free and open to the public, however registration is limited to the first 12 people to sign up either on their website, by phone, or in the library. Visit this link to view the schedule of events. The next session is Thursday, October 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Digital Commons

iPad Insurance - CLOSING SOON!!

Families have until September 19th to opt in for the iPad insurance program through the SVVSD. Please read about the insurance here in English and here in Spanish. You can pay directly to the office or through RevTrak. The total is $35 for the year.

Counselor’s Corner

Explore your future at the Colorado Council on High School/College Relations College Fair being held at Skyline High School. On the evening of Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014, Skyline High School will host over fifty colleges from around the country. The College Fair will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Get a jump on planning for your future.

Next week, the counseling department will be going into all of the student’s classrooms to discuss bullying at TRMS. Help your kids get the most out of the Take Action Campaign!  Read all about it by clicking this link!

Band, Choir & Orchestra

Parents of Band, Choir and Orchestra students:

Many thanks for sending the money for choir polo shirts. The students are getting excited.  Don't forget Monday September 15 is the last day to pay!  You may pay online or in the office.
