What Can You Create for the Longmont Council for the Arts?

The Details

  • Entries must be received by December 17, 2014.
  • One entry per student.
  • No entry fees!
  • The video must be an original work. 
  • Video entries should be between 30 seconds and two minutes in length.
  • The Entry Form must be signed by the parent/guardian.
  • All Entries will be accepted and viewable at the Muse Gallery during the exhibition.
  • The exhibition committee will select the top videos and present them on Fri, February 13th during the 2nd Friday event, 6-9pm.

You can find a copy in the Digital Commons or in the office or you can click here.  Submission Guidelines1. Save video file using last name and first initial. (i.e. SmithJ.mov)2. Send video with Entry Form, and Release Form to entry@artslongmont.org using https://www.wetransfer.com/  You don’t need an account to use We Transfer. You simply go to the website add files, type in entry@artslongmont.org in the Friends email box, your email in the Your email box and hit the transfer button. You will receive an email confirmation that it was sent and another email when we download it.

About the GalleryThe Muse Gallery is a collaborative art gallery where local artists display and sell their work. For the Longmont community, it is a space to view and purchase a variety of art of different styles and mediums including hand blown glass, sculpture, jewelry, painting and photography. While the Muse is a member gallery not all members show at the same time, so each exhibition is fresh and new. The WESTend is a dedicated space within the Muse Gallery created to provide a space for diverse well-known to emerging artists with a variety of themes and are local to national and international artists.
