This Wednesday, September 2nd is our fundraiser night at Panda Express. And this fundraiser is extra unique. . . .ONLY online orders count (BOO!!), but orders placed online to ANY PANDA EXPRESS NATIONWIDE are eligible. (YES!!). Anyone can order from any Panda Express in the United States all day long with Fundraiser code 9017744 online or on the app, and it will count toward our fundraiser. Please share with your family and friends across the United States to help make this fundraiser the best one yet!
Reminder: Free or Reduced Benefit Application Reminder
Families who believe they may qualify for free or reduced eligibility benefits are encouraged to complete an application by Oct. 1. While all St. Vrain Valley students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily at participating schools through Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program, submitting an application provides additional benefits to families such as fee waivers, college exam discounts, and reduced internet and utility costs, and also helps bring federal funding to support classrooms, after-school programs, technology, and access to the S-EBT summer program. Applications are available online or at Nutrition Services, 2929 Clover Basin Dr., Longmont.
In addition, Nutrition Services is hosting our FIRST EVER student design contest across the district! We are focused on making Colorado Proud School Meal Day (October 1st) one to remember and looking for some help from students across the district. The competition flyer, in both English and Spanish are featured below, also we created a powerpoint slide that can be added into the schools rotating TV screens. This is voluntary and we want to make it as successful as possible so please reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas on how we can get participation from your school!
