I grew up in Longmont, and spent my entire public school education within the St. Vrain Valley School District. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2017 with a degree in music education. Since 2017, I've primarily worked as a substitute teacher in St. Vrain and Adams 12. During those years as a sub, I was also a touring musician. In addition, I was the choir director at Westlake Middle School in Broomfield.

I like to spend time with my family (my wife is the music teacher at Blue Mountain Elementary School in Longmont), perform and record with my band, cook, and collect Nintendo stuff.
