This is my first year as Dean of Students but my 6th year overall at Trail Ridge Middle School. For the past five years at TRMS, I have taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts. I started my teaching career in Indiana, and after two years moved out to Colorado with my husband. I taught at Weld Central Middle School and Milliken Middle School before joining the amazing team here at TRMS. I have also coached girls high school basketball and boys and girls middle school basketball. This is my 14th year in public education and Trail Ridge Middle School is the best place to work because of the wonderful students and staff!

I have a nine-year-old son, Lucas, in 4th grade and a five-year-old daughter, Lillian, in Kindergarten at Mead Elementary School.  Outside of teaching, I am spending time with my family by exploring the mountains, traveling to Indiana in the summer to visit family and friends, walking our dog, playing sports and listening to music.
