I grew up in Longmont, and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in music education in 2017. I worked as a substitute teacher in both St. Vrain and Adams 12 for five years, and have been at TRMS since 2022. I direct three orchestras, three choirs, and teach History of Rock.

I've been the drummer in a punk band since I was a teenager, and I've had the opportunity to perform in many cities across the country.

My wife, Amber, is also a music teacher who teaches at Blue Mountain Elementary. I have three boys, and a pet rabbit. In the minimal free time that I have, I like to listen to music, read, and play video games.
