My name is Matt Coniglio and I am entering my 12th year in education and can't wait to begin my first year as the Assistant Principal of Trail Ridge. I began my career as a Public Speaking & English teacher at Fort Morgan High School. I then moved to Sunset Middle School where I taught Language Arts & Technology for 6 years. In 2018, I began my role as the Dean of Students here at Trail Ridge and I have never felt more at home.

I am honored to work with our students and families and am so excited to come to work every day. My goal as the Assistant Principal is to make Trail Ridge a safe place to be, a place where teachers can teach and students can learn, and a place that brings joy & success to our entire school community.

My wife, Sarah, is an administrator in SVVSD as well and we have a 2-year-old daughter named Lucy. I hope to one day be a building principal and am so thankful to be working in such an amazing district.
