As we gear up for a busy and productive week ahead, thank you for your ongoing partnership in making this school year so strong. Here are a few key updates and reminders for our TRMS community:

Parent-Teacher Conferences Next Week Fall conferences take place next week on September 22, 23, and 24. If you haven’t reserved your time slot yet, please check your email for the sign-up links or reach out to our front office. We look forward to connecting with you to celebrate your student’s progress and align on goals for the semester.

Shoutout to Our PTO A huge thank you to our PTO for their constant support of our staff and school community! They are graciously taking care of our teachers by providing meals during these long conference nights. We deeply appreciate everything our PTO does behind the scenes to keep TRMS running strong.

Help Us Feed OurTeachers!

Let’s show some appreciation by providing dinner! We’re looking for parent volunteers to sign up to bring a meal or contribute food for an upcoming teacher dinner. Every contribution helps make their evening a little easier and brighter. Thank you for supporting our teachers!

Instrument Drive, October 1-2

St. Vrain Valley Schools invites the community to donate gently used instruments during the Annual Instrument Collection Drive on Thursday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 3 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Lincoln School Building. All donated instruments support music programs across the district. The instruments are cleaned, tuned, and repaired before being placed in classrooms or offered for student rentals, expanding access to music education across the district. Most instruments are welcome (except drum sets and upright pianos). Donors will receive a receipt from the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation.

Band Night, October 7

St. Vrain Valley Schools invites families to attend Band Night on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6:00 p.m. at Everly-Montgomery Field in Longmont. The evening will feature performances from high school bands across the district, concluding with a drone show presented by the St. Vrain Student Performance Drone Team. This event is a great opportunity to bring students and the community together in support of local feeder high schools.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children age six and under. Eighth grade students will be admitted free with a valid student ID.

Gifted & Talented Referrals Are Open!

St. Vrain Valley Schools is accepting referrals for students who may benefit from Gifted/Talented educational services. Referrals are open throughout September, with the process taking just 5–10 minutes to complete. Learn more and submit a referral using the link or QR code on the flyer.

Attendance Push: 95% Goal & Student Recognition We are continuing our school-wide focus on reaching our 95% attendance rate. Being present every single day makes a massive difference in a student’s academic confidence and connection to school. To keep the momentum going, we will soon be recognizing and celebrating students who meet and maintain our attendance goals!
