From the Principal. . .

We are officially in the home stretch of the third quarter. While the finish line is in sight, we’re not quite there yet. Here is what you need to know to help your student (and your sanity) navigate the coming weeks.

The end of the third quarter is often the hardest time for students to stay focused. “Spring Fever” is real, but now is the time to lean in.

  • Encourage Consistency: Help your student check their portal for any missing assignments.
  • The Power of “Yet”: If grades aren’t where they want them to be, remind them there is still time to turn things around before the quarter closes.
  • Rest Matters: Even as the weather gets nicer, keeping a solid sleep schedule makes a massive difference in classroom focus.

As we approach the end of the school year, our calendar is starting to get a bit busy. Between sporting events, performances, and end-of-year ceremonies, things are moving fast.

  • Stay Updated: Please keep an eye on the school website for specific dates and times.
  • Planning Ahead: If you know your student will be missing school for an upcoming event or an early Spring Break departure, please let the office know as soon as possible.

Your student’s safety is our absolute priority, and we appreciate your patience as we keep our campus secure.

  • The “Identify” Phase: When visiting the school, please be prepared to provide your phone number or photo ID at the front door.
  • Verification: We may use this information to verify your identity in our system before buzz-in.
  • Patience is Key: We know this adds an extra 30 seconds to your visit, but those seconds ensure that only authorized visitors are entering the building.

Once we cross the finish line of the third quarter, everyone deserves a chance to recharge. Whether you’re heading out on a trip or mastering the art of the “staycation,” we hope you have a safe and restful Spring Break.

Let’s finish this quarter with momentum!

Go Grizzlies!

Sincerely,

Mr. Cloke
