Dear Parents/Guardians
Trail Ridge Families,
Recently, we have had some exciting things happening over here at Trail Ridge Middle School. Allow me to share. . .
•The Robozos are State Champions! Our robotics teams went to the State Championships this last week and had a great showing. Not only did the Robozos win the State title, the second for TRMS, they and the Shreks both qualified for the World Tournament in Dallas, Tx.
•TRMS in the Hall of Fame! During our Inclusion Day activities on Wednesday, we were surprised by the Special Olympics as they announced we would be inducted into the Unified Hall of Fame! This is an amazing honor as we will be only the second middle school in the 45 year history to receive this honor! You can read more here!
Trail Ridge is a great place to be and we are so proud of our students, staff, and community! Go Grizzlies – GRRRRRRR!!!
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Eddie Cloke, Principal

Ipad Screen Time Settings
Did you know you can set a time limit on the Ipad for a category of apps (such as games or social networking) for your student?
Click here for a helpful set of directions: Screen Time
Please help your student be prepared for class each day, with their Ipad charged at 100% and in their backpack. If you need a new cube and cable, we have them for sale at school. Have students refrain from bringing their own cube and cable to school by having them charge the Ipad each evening.
3rd Quarter Grades Deadline
Did you know that 3rd quarter ends in 1 week? Here are some things that students can do in the next week:
- Check their grades in Infinite Campus.
- Check to see if they are missing any assignments and come up with a plan to complete them before the quarter ends.
- Talk to their teacher(s) if they need any help or have questions.
- Set up an appointment with their counselor if they need help developing a plan to pass.
Track Registration Open
Track and field practices start Monday, March 11th! Click here to register.
If you have any questions, feel free to email our coach Mr. Walker ([email protected]).
Dress Code
With warmer days scattered throughout our weeks as we move into Spring, please remember that the dress code specifically says that shirts should cover the upper body. If shirts are too short, the student will be asked to zip, or button up something over it or come to the office to call home for such an item.
The dress code is posted in the student handbook on our website. If you have any questions or the students have questions, here is the dress code from the handbook.
Guidelines for appropriate school apparel include:
- All clothing must cover the traditionally private parts of the body, including, but not limited to, the midsection, buttocks, back and breasts.
- Undergarments must be covered.
- Pants should not be sagging and exposing undergarments.
- Clothing that advertises alcohol, drugs, gang affiliation, or any profanity should remain at home.
- Hats are allowed to be worn as long as they are not a distraction to the learning environment. If distraction occurs with a specific student, they may not be allowed to wear hats during the school day.
- Hoods, and sunglasses are not to be worn in the building at any time.
- Graphic material is expected to be appropriate and not reference inappropriate behavior, language, action or substance abuse of any kind, threaten the safety or welfare of any person, or otherwise disrupt the teaching-learning process.
