This year begins my 18th year teaching middle school and my 11th year teaching at Trail Ridge. Originally from central Texas, I moved to Colorado in 2007. I graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Psychology and then from Texas State University with a Masters in Secondary Education. I have only ever taught middle school and can't see myself doing anything else! When I'm not teaching I love to spend time with my family, my husband Sean, two bonus-daughters, our grandbaby, and our 2 yorkies.
