I love the energy and freshness of a new school year. Meeting new students, reimagining my classroom and trying out new instructional strategies get me motivated. I grew up in Montana and came to Colorado to study Vocal Performance at the University of Northern Colorado. I met my husband, Chris, in college and we have built a life with family & friends here in Longmont. My sons, Chace who started middle school this year, and Cutter who is in first grade are the delights of my life. I am looking forward to a year of growing readers and writers.
