I am working on my 25th year in SVVSD. Originally from Montana, I came to Colorado to earn my teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I started my career as an elementary reading interventionist. While teaching, I completed my Master's Degree with a Reading Endorsement through CU Boulder. Over the years, I have taught many different grade levels. I moved up to Middle School nine years ago. Now, I am teaching Literacy again. I really feel I have found my niche. The students in our intervention classes are making amazing progress.

I met my husband in college. He grew up in Ft. Collins, and we have built a life with family & friends here in Longmont. My oldest son is a Junior at LHS, focusing on the Medical & Biosciences Academy. My younger son started Middle School this year. It is very exciting to see the diverse opportunities in our district as a teacher and especially as a parent.
