- I am so excited to begin my first year of teaching at Trail Ridge Middle School! I was born in Mississippi, moved to New Jersey when I was a freshman in high school, and moved to Longmont with my partner five years ago. When I'm not teaching I love running, biking, hiking, gardening, or sitting down with a good book. I love engaging students in meaningful texts and getting them excited about learning. I am teaching my students but they are also constantly teaching me. That's what I love the most!
