1. Differentiate between basic and severe weather conditions, and develop an appropriate action plan for personal safety and the safety of others (3.1.a)8
2. Use models to develop and communicate a weather prediction (3.1.c)8

As you know, this year all students in Colorado will be taking PARCC testing in place of TCAP. Because PARCC is a computerized test, we can no longer test all students in one week as we did with the TCAP Test. The testing schedule for begins on March 9th and runs through May 14th. I know this sounds like quite a lot, but keep in mind that with the exception of 7th grade, (there is an addition of a social studies test), the number of testing sessions is exactly the same as TCAP. It is our commitment that testing will not take over the school for 4th quarter.
If you missed conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday this week we encourage you to check in with your student’s teachers. Remember, to use Infinite Campus to check grades. Or, simply send them an email or place a phone call. We are here to help!
All 6th and 7th graders will be getting their registration form for the 2015/2016 school year on Monday, March 2 in their language arts classes. They will be due with a parent/guardian signature on Friday, March 6th to the office.
