Principal’s Update

Parent Conferences are this week! Please mark your calendar for either Tuesday-Sept 27th, Thurs-Sept 29th, or Tuesday-Oct 4th to visit with your student’s teachers. You must sign up for a window of time to attend on any of these days. The windows will be 3:15 – 5:00 and 5:30 -7:15. You can attend anytime during the window you sign up for, however, we want to remind you that we have a built-in dinner break for teachers from 5:00-5:30 and conferences will end at 7:15pm. Our staff is looking forward to talking with you!

On another note, Trail Ridge Middle School was recently selected as a National Banner Champion Unified School, only 1 of four schools in the state of Colorado, and roughly 160 schools in the nation! We were selected as a testament to our demonstrated commitment to inclusion by meeting the Special Olympics 10 standards of excellence. We are proud of this accomplishment for our school and student body and want to send a special shout-out to our SSN teacher, Mrs. Becci Warren, an outstanding leader and advocate for all students. She has spearheaded this work that has benefited so many!
