Welcome Back!
Dear Trail Ridge Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you had a refreshing summer break and are as excited as we are to kick off a new year of learning, discovery, and Grizzly pride. Trail Ridge is more than just a school—it’s a community, and we are so ready to welcome our students back for another incredible year together. Let’s make it unforgettable!
To help every student start the year off strong, supply-filled backpacks are available in the front office while supplies last – please feel free to stop by or reach out! As we kick off this school year, one of our major goals is achieving a 95% school-wide attendance rate, because being here consistently is the foundation for student growth and achievement. We also know that student involvement is key to a rewarding middle school experience, so we strongly encourage every Grizzly to get connected by joining a club, sport, or school activity. When students show up every day and plug into our school community, incredible things happen!

- Monday, August 17th | Back to School Night (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM) Join us on campus to find your classrooms, meet your teachers, catch up with friends, and ease those first-day jitters.
- Tuesday, August 18th | First Day for 6th Graders & All New Students This transition day is designed exclusively for our incoming 6th graders and any students new to Trail Ridge. It’s a wonderful opportunity for them to learn the ropes and get comfortable with the building before the halls get busy.
- Wednesday, August 19th | First Day for ALL Students Welcome back, everyone! This is our first official full-campus day where all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be in attendance.

LTP Student iPad Insurance Window. . .
The LTP Student iPad Insurance window for the 2026-2027 school year opens August 1st and closes on September 15th. Parents who wish to join the insurance pool for this year must make at least a partial payment within this window.
This insurance fee will be added for every eligible K-12 student on August 1st. Please note that any student with an unpaid balance for iPad insurance from the previous year will not be eligible to join the pool this year until their previous balance is paid in full.
