Dear Parents/Guardians

Dear Trail Ridge Families,

We hope this newsletter finds you well and in good spirits as we approach the busy month of December. We have some updates and important information to share with you.

Winter Break

As the semester comes to a close, we want to remind you that Winter Break will begin on Friday, December 22nd and classes will resume on Monday, January 8th. We hope you and your family enjoy this time together, and we look forward to the start of the second semester.

iReady Testing Day

We will have our mid-year iReady testing for both Reading and Math on Tuesday, December 5th. We are always encouraging the students to do their best and show the growth they have made. Please assist us in making sure student iPads are fully charged for a great day on Tuesday.

Canned Food Drive

December is a time for reflection and gratitude. Trail Ridge will be participating in the district-wide Canned Food Drive from Dec 1-18. Any donations can be brought into the front office. At the end of our drive, we will be delivering all donations to the Longmont Our Center. Thank you for your support!

School Closures

With the weather turning toward Winter, please be aware of any school closures due to inclement weather. We will notify you promptly through our usual communication channels (text, email, and our school website) if there are any changes to the school schedule.

December Fun

Our school will be hosting a variety of activities throughout December. Students will have the opportunity to earn raffle tickets throughout each day to win some fun prizes! Additionally, we are scheduled for our Pizza Lunch Celebration and Spirit Assembly on Thursday, Dec 21th.

We wish you and your family a joyful and peaceful December. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community.

Best regards,

Eddie Cloke, Principal
